EFFECTIVE 23 SEPTEMBER 2026
Terms of Service
These terms cover use of Kami (also called “the bot”), operated by nen-exploit, in Discord servers. The bot’s name or appearance may vary by server.
1. Using the bot
You must follow Discord’s Terms of Service, its Community Guidelines, and applicable law. You must meet Discord’s age requirements. Do not use the bot to harass others, evade server rules, infringe rights, or interfere with the service.
2. Server owner and administrator choices
A server owner or authorized administrator chooses whether to install the bot, grants its permissions, and configures optional features. These may include moderation, logging, member verification, tickets, welcome messages, suggestions, giveaways, temporary voice rooms, and recovery snapshots. The server’s staff remain responsible for their rules, moderation decisions, channel access, and reviewing automated actions. They should tell members when these features are enabled and use the permissions and settings appropriate for their server.
3. Commands and content
Users can submit content through commands such as reminders, support ticket reasons, builds, suggestions, and music searches. You are responsible for content you submit and must have the right to use it. Some responses and posts are visible to other server members according to Discord channel permissions. Suggestions are posted without the submitter’s identity by the bot, but this does not promise anonymity from Discord, server staff, or other systems.
4. Moderation and recovery
Automated safety tools can remove messages or accounts when configured by server staff. They can make mistakes or act after an incident has already occurred. Recovery snapshots cover selected role and channel settings; they do not recover messages, member role assignments, integrations, or original Discord IDs. Restoration requires server owner confirmation and can be partial if Discord denies a change. Server owners should review security settings and keep independent backups where needed.
5. Third-party services
Some features rely on Discord, LittleMan Stats for No Hesi results, Spotify for music metadata, and YouTube for music searches or playback. Their services and terms also apply. We do not control their availability, content, or policies.
6. Availability and changes
The bot is provided as available. Features may change, pause, or stop, including when an external service or Discord API changes. We may limit or remove access to protect the bot, its users, or a server. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not promise uninterrupted operation or that the bot will prevent every security incident or data loss. Nothing here removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Privacy and contact
Our Privacy Policy explains the data handled by the bot and how to request access or deletion. For questions about these terms, use the contact options on the operator’s GitHub profile. Do not post passwords, tokens, or private messages in a public GitHub issue.
8. Updates to these terms
We may update these terms when the bot or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use after an update is subject to the updated terms, subject to applicable law.
